Been here twice now, and I've gotta say, this place definitely has met my cravings for a good Korean soup. I've grown up going to Chicago's suburb Glenview which is known for their good Korean food spots. This is pretty close to what you can get there. During this visit, I got the Soon Doo Boo. It had pretty good flavor, and wasn't too spicy. It also came with rice which was a nice touch. My friend got the Bulgogi fried rice which was also really good. Flavor was solid there. The whole process went smoothly. They give us buzzers to get food from the front counter. Other than that, the inside space was nice. Got the k-pop playing at a good volume in the background. Also got free water which is always a plus in my books. Excited to try more from their menu in the future!

Ambiance: Restaurant is clean and nice location to eat inside with friends. Service: You order at the front and pick up your food when it's ready and put your tray away when done. Food: There are a variety of Korean dishes to try from. The Katsu is a very large portion. The meat itself is the same size as my face. It is fried to a nice golden brown and has a crispy exterior with a juicy interior. The sauce adds the extra flavor to bring the whole dish together.

I've had a lot of their soup based dishes as well as their katsu. Their katsu is huge!! I believe they are known for the soup base dishes so definitely try those out if you go. The portions are big and the price is reasonable for the amount of food. Atmosphere is great and always clean here.

I had the #7 (hot squid). It was delicious. Very glad to find it on the menu. It isn't easy to find.

I miss the taste of kimchi so much so I went there which is near the CRCE. I was so satisfied with the boo dae jji gae! Just what I want

Soon du bu. Actually pretty good. I hadn't come back in a long time cause I'd rather have other Korean restaurants. I used to come here years ago to get bibimbap but now I think if I'm ever craving soon dubu I'll come here! I was wondering what happened to all the side dishes tho?

Bap plus's dduk bok ee is the best comfort food to order! I like that their sweet and spicy sauce for the rice cake are not overly flavored and saucy. The portion is pretty good and it also comes with a light soup on the side!

Hands down my favorite restaurant in town. Miss its delicious food. The ordering system is efficient, you get a pager with your order and your food in less than 10 minute, no matter how busy it is. I love all the dishes that I have ever tried here - kimchi jae yook bok eum(spicy marinated pork with kimchi and veggies, BEST KOREAN DISH EVER), Seol Leong Tong(bland soupy dish that needs A LOT of garnishing), Boo Dae Ji Gae, kimchi fried rice, Ton katsu(crispy fried pork cutlet with amazing sauce), Soon dobu(another favorite). This is a great spot for a date, family reunion, huge group of friends and what not. I had my last meal here on graduation day and I miss it a bunch.
